Heather is a wife, a mother of 3 beautiful children, a daughter, a friend, a sister, a niece, a midcentury design devotee, a jonathan adler collector, a DWELL magazine subscriber, a lover of pop culture, modern art and reality tv, a nurse, a guinea pig wrangler, a bad dancer, a good singer (at least she thinks so) and someone who is blessed to have a career where being around glorious celebrations for a living is the job requirement. So it only makes sense that the love and passion she has for her photography transcends the obvious capture. She is commited to photographing real, meaningful and powerful moments of your wedding day. With a sense of humor and a genuine appreciation of family bonds, her Vivid Technicolor, Dramatic Black and White and Dreamy Digital Enhanced imagery reveals your day, moment by moment.
Her style is modern, fun and real.
Just the way she lives her life.
She has been a wedding photographer for 8 years. Her work has been featured in/on The Knot, Theknot.com and Metroit Detroit Bride. She is also a freelance photographer for HOUR Detroit Magazine.

Hi Heather,
Just bought out the Detroit Metro Hour Magazine Bridal edition rack at Borders. We are so thrilled Laura and Mike’s pictures made the magazine and so happy you were the photographer for their wedding. We are still showing the album to co-workers, family members, neighbors, baggers at the grocery store, etc. Thank you for so many great memories. Hope everything’s going well for you. I love looking at your work periodically and reminiscing over the wonderful time we had. I plan on ordering more photos in the near future.
Best regards,
Jeanne and Jim Shryock
